“Doctor! It’s spiking again.”
To which, the Cube sparked one more --a much larger spike to the previous.
“What’s that?”
Before Fury could so much as tense, eye on the Cube, it sparked again --for the ground and walls to visibly shake.
It continued to spark some more, bigger each time - to which a beam of energy was suddenly brought forth and -an explosion...Once visual on the platform returned, it was only for Fury to tense further.
Confusion and concern ran through him as he took in the several unknowns now of the platform, each more confusing than the last. In the centre was a dark haired kid - ten or eleven if Fury had to guess - complete with a bloodied sword in his hand. Yet, they were not the oddest thing. That was reserved to the brightest tropical bird he had ever seen, complete with a wide colourful wing span and a long back tail rivalling that of a peacock’s, which flew in suspension above the boy.(Note, 11th July 2021: Story is NOT Abandoned (real life - which includes Post grad thesis - is slowing down my writing) Thank you for all the kudos and comments ppl have left so far)

Summary
Tommy's called Blindspot for a reason. He’s not invisible, as he’s reminded Dream time and time again - people can definitely see him. They just don’t notice. He blends into plain sight, totally diverting all attention like water off of a duck.
Usually, anyway. Orpheus, however, stiffens a little as Tommy draws nearer. He starts glancing around, as if struck by sudden paranoia. Tommy draws up in front of him, staff clenched in one hand, and Orpheus starts turning as if to check behind him.
“What’s that,” Orpheus mutters. “Who’s there-“
Tommy pulls his staff back and slams it into Orpheus’s stomach, hard.
Orpheus stumbles. He wheezes, choking, and then looks up at Tommy and fixes him with a burning stare.
“Who the fuck are you,” Orpheus says, eyes wild and oddly delighted. “Where were you hiding?”

Suspected of betraying the Hero Guild, Apprentice hero Tommy (A.K.A. Blindspot) is put under Security Protocol Catbag: a locked-on noise cancelling mask equipped with truth gas. His mentor, Dream, calls it a necessary teaching tool.
Meanwhile, SBI wants to know why their least favorite loudmouth little Hero has suddenly stopped talking.

Summary
Danny Fenton studied medicine under Frostbite. Because of this, he has a lot of medical expertise when it comes to working with a lot of different species, including Kryptonians and Martians.
The doctors on the Watchtower who hired him did not know that he had experience and thought he was just talking back, so they fired him on day one. A few days later they tried one of his suggestions. To their surprise, it worked.
The Justice League now has questions about Danny, starting with "Why the hell did you fire him??"
THIS FIC IS NOT ABANDONED! I promise I will come back and finish it someday. Life has just been getting in the way lately, so I've been slow to update all of my fics.

Callisia Potter had been told her entire life that there was nothing that could be done and she had simply accepted it. She accepted that she had to go back to the Dursley's every summer, she accepted that Dumbledore knew best when he stopped her friends from writing to her, she accepted that the ministry was printing lies and refusing the truth, she accepted that some people didn't want to accepted that Voldemort was back, she accepted that Cedric was died and it was her fault for not being quicker that night, she accepted that year after year she would face life-threatening dangers.
Callisia had long since accepted the hand she had been dealt, accepted that there was nothing she could do about it. But when Sirius fell in the Department of Mysteries, Callisia couldn't accept it, she refused to accept it. She had already lost her parents, she wouldn't lose her godfather too.
So when Sirius fell, Callisia jumped after him. She followed him through the veil and ended up in a strange place, with stranger people who spoke an even stranger language.
