Summary
You have come to hate school, but when Gwylan asks you go, just for a day, you agree. It was felt great pleasing their demands, and it would be a great way to tell them about a new story.
You simply didn't expect to find the shop gone when you came back.

Summary
Caelus grabbed Sampo’s wrist.
“Could you go in first?” he asked. “Just that… it’s a rule for these things. Tallest goes in first. To prevent… blockages… in the dream flow thing.”
Sampo’s eyebrows pinched. It was clear he didn’t really believe Caelus, but there was a glint in his eyes that was more nervous than angry.
“Uh. Sure thing, pal.”
Alright. This was it. There was no saying what the dreamscape within a dreamscape would have in store for them, and it was unknown if they’d be able to rest once they stepped through. Caelus’s grip tightened on Sampo’s wrist as the man stepped forward to the Artwork.
“I’m not going anywhere,” Sampo said with his stupid smile.
Then, he pulled the both of them into the Artwork.
Or
Caelus and Sampo get trapped in an Arcane Artwork by some very angry Pepeshi. It turns out that the dreamscape (and by extension, whatever is happening with and between Caelus and Sampo) needs a little digging to get through.

Summary
Whenever he found Kanae, no matter what version of him that was, the outcome was the same. It was unfair to his partner who met him for the first time, every cycle, unaware of their prior years together. Kanae wasn’t obligated to feel the same way about him each time, but he did. Always, always with that unconditional love that Kuzuha didn’t think he deserved. The guilt was severe, it made him prone to pushing Kanae away, to act more standoffish than he actually felt. A pattern in his behavior that developed and resurfaced more and more with each reincarnation. He knew it was foul play, but the liability had cultivated itself into a monster he saw in every mirror.
And he convinced himself, with a resolute despair, that he had to keep this monster away from his oldest, most beloved friend.

Summary
He knows it's too late even as the water rushes over him, painfully cold against skin that's already begun to tingle and grow hot with circulation, quickly spreading from his chest to his feet.
By the time he gives up and pulls his arms out from under the spray, the skin at the back of his neck is beginning to prickle with sweat, his heart pounding and breath coming just a little bit shorter as he tilts his face up towards the ceiling and quietly whispers, "well fuck."
