Summary
The Cloud Recesses Guest Lectures were held every three years for disciples between the ages of fifteen and eighteen. They had three purposes.
The first (and the reason it was hosted by the Lan) was to provide a shared baseline understanding of the core cultivation topics that underpinned every sect while not divulging clan-specific approaches.
The second was to create opportunities for friendships and alliances that would reduce the chance of war between the clans.
The third, and most important, was for the clans to replenish their bloodline by finding compatible mates with strong cultivation skills. In the last month of the lectures, challenges to test compatibility could be issued.
Wei Wuxian challenges Lan Wangji, sure that they are compatible mates. The Lan refuse to allow the Challenge.
They come to regret it.

Summary
Lan Wangji is a pre-alpha tester for the Suibean Coffee Machine- an AI powered unit that makes the best damn coffee known to man. Despite the fact he only drinks tea, he bonds with the unit and "forgets" to send it back. A two week trial period turns into a ten year friendship that ends in tragedy when the unit suddenly goes offline without warning.
Lan Wangji must contact the only person capable of reviving his friend-- Billionaire Wei Wuxian, a man far out of his reach.
Billionaire Wei Wuxian is at the top of the world and living every man's dream. He's the father of Artificial Intelligence and the self proclaimed smartest man in the world, and a man like that wants for nothing.
It's incredibly... boring.
When a hack on his company leaves him scrambling to find the culprit responsible, he finally meets a problem he can't solve easily. Not to mention the golden eyed man that gets caught in the crossfire.

Summary
Wei Ying never planned on kissing Lan Zhan again, not after their only time together had led to humiliation and heartbreak. But year after year, somehow Lan Zhan finds him ten seconds to midnight and steals his New Year's Eve kiss anyway.
Or: Lan Zhan fucks up big time and spends five years trying to climb out of the hole he dug himself.
The first chapter is a stand alone one shot. All subsequent chapters will be Lan Zhan's point of view.
