“Is it…” he begins, his gaze drifting to the right. “No, never mind,” and he turns away, hands in the pockets of his camouflage sweatpants.
“It’s your questions about ghosts, isn’t it?” Seungmin asks, tilting his head.
“How do you know?” Minho asks, turning around, not really surprised, more curious. Somehow, Kim Seungmin always knows everything.
"Jeonginnie told me. I know it’s not the kind of subject you’re interested in, and you always seem to be on your guard these days. So what? Is there a ghost haunting you?" He pulls his chair closer to his desk, rests his elbows on it, and interlaces his fingers. The situation seems to amuse him greatly.
Where Minho is a PE teacher in a rural boarding school for the fifth year in a row, and he isn’t really sure but at the same time it is the only possible explanation that there is a ghost haunting him.
Not a cute ghost at all.

« Est-ce que… » commence-t-il, son regard dérivant sur la droite. « Non, laisse tomber, » et il fait demi-tour, mains dans les poches de son jogging à motifs camouflage.
« Ce sont tes questions sur les fantômes, c’est ça ? » s’enquiert Seungmin en penchant la tête.
« Comment tu sais ? » s’enquiert Minho en se retournant, pas vraiment surpris, plutôt curieux. D’une façon ou d’une autre, Kim Seungmin sait toujours tout.
« Jeonginnie m’en a parlé. Je sais que ce n’est pas le genre de sujet qui t’intéresse et tu sembles toujours sur tes gardes en ce moment. Alors quoi ? Il y a un fantôme qui te hante ? » Il rapproche sa chaise de son bureau, pose ses coudes dessus, entrelace ses doigts. La situation a l’air de furieusement l’amuser.
Où Minho est professeur d’EPS dans un pensionnant de campagne pour la cinquième année consécutive et il n’est pas sûr mais en même temps c’est la seule explication possible qu’il y a un fantôme qui le hante.
Pas du tout mignon, le fantôme.

Summary
“Okay,” Jisung finally says, face splitting into a wide smile. One that still feels a bit dusty but he remembers all the same.
“That’s all it took?” Minho laughs, and it's high and sweet. Not sinister at all. Not even a trickster, just a man on a mission. Determination running rampant through him. “I was ready to beg.”
Jisung is almost one hundred percent sure there is no way he will ever be able to transmute what Minho wants him to, but he’ll cross that bridge when he gets there. For now, he will wade in the joy, the feeling of something new approaching him for the first time ever.
“So, where are we going?” Jisung asks, unable to keep the excitement from his voice. “Hell?”
“Worse,” Minho shudders. “Palm Springs.”
(OR: Minho is on a cross-country mission to rescue his brother, and Jisung might be the only magic user who can help him. It’s the road trip of a lifetime.)

“More like a collection of love letters,” Jisung says. He doesn’t look at Seungmin while he says it, but he does look after. He sees in Seungmin everything he’s been afraid Seungmin will see in him. So much tenderness, so much understanding, so much history.
“Yeah?” Seungmin asks.
“Yeah,” Jisung answers.

Jisung is an idol in the midst of a career ruining scandal that leaves him socially isolated. He seeks out his old childhood best friend, Seungmin, but finds that reconciliation doesn’t come easily.
