Their noses nearly brush now. Bakugo’s breath was ragged, knuckles white from how hard he was gripping Todoroki’s neck. His eyes darted down—just for a second—to Todoroki’s lips, then back up again, furious with himself for doing it.
Todoroki’s cheeks burned red, smiling wonky as he felt lightheaded by the pressure from Bakugo’s hand.
He leaned in just a little more, his voice barely above a whisper.
“Say you don’t want this and I’ll stop.”
Bakugo’s heart kicked hard in his chest.
He didn’t say anything.

They were supposed to be friends.
