When he reaches the light switch, crossing the room extremely fast—maybe it was because he was so light—he reaches out to flick it on, and finds that his arm doesn’t reach the switch before the lights turn themselves on. And when he turns to take in the room fully, on the bed he had just vacated, he sees a figure lying, unconscious, limp. He moves closer. With reservation, he identifies the face. It’s paler and skinnier than usual, and it’s littered with little scars, but it it’s undeniable.

Heyyy guys so it turns out that editing and revising your work actually helps a lot! I have a tendency to just write then post, but today I reread this work and realized how inconsistent and full of gramatical/spelling errors it was! So I revised it a lot and will be sure to do that before posting in the future.

Rodolfo looked him up and down. Around Alejandro’s frame, the black seemed to inch closer, hugging him in its clench. He rolled his jaw and narrowed his shoulders. The fire painted his skin red.
"Of course, no?" It was an answer so simple. Obvious. We're only animals, aren't we?
"Do you want me to enlist?"
"Yes."
Burning eyes peered at him: "Why?"
Rodolfo felt the corner of his mouth twitch with it.
"Is there anybody else you'd go to war with, Lejan?"
"No," he immediately answered.
Rudy smiled, all teeth and spite. He reached out for his last glass and raised it above the flames.

Ah, now that’s a name Soap hasn’t heard in over a decade. “Why?” Soap drops eye contact with the captain.
“Matthew’s the head of the trafficking ring, do you know him?” Soap doesn't see it, but the others in the room tense. Waiting for his answer.
“Ah– Um. yeh ah ken ‘im. He’s–” accent thickening with anxiety, Soap clears his throat. “He’s my.. He’s my Father.”
