I really, really liked it when Zuko offered himself as a prisoner to the Aang Gang and I was offended they didn't take him up on it.
The Gaang are still good guys, so this doesn't get too dark, but Zuko is good at bringing the hurt on himself all by himself. Zuko/Honor is the most abusive relationship in this fandom.
Mostly canon-compliant. Relationships that aren't cannon are ... merely flirtation. Sorry.

Summary
Zuko is Sokka’s first in many ways, and in many ways he isn’t. Zuko is Sokka’s first omega friend - well, technically, that would be Toph, but she was twelve and didn’t present yet back then, so, doesn’t count. Zuko is his first best friend, what’s more important - and considering how fast Aang is moving towards being promoted to brother-in-law status, Sokka doesn’t feel guilty about putting Zuko first. The most important thing about best friends is your sister not stealing them, anyways. Zuko is definitely the first firebender he fought, but that’s embarrassing history, for both of them. Zuko is Sokka’s first jailbreak, and that’s actually cool. Or hot, considering the jail. You know, boiling hot.
Or, when both of you are idiots, even omegaverse can't stop you from ten years of pining.

Summary
Three years after the war, Sasuke returns to Konoha hoping to figure out if he belongs there at all. He had always been inexplicably drawn towards Naruto: in the end, that's what their story came down to. But Naruto is not a boy anymore. Though still vibrant and confident, there is an undeniable appeal to how he now carries himself with newfound maturity.
Haunted by his past, Sasuke struggles to reconcile with his emotions. He battles against the stirring attraction, adamant that Naruto could never reciprocate. Yet, it is Naruto who gradually blurs the lines between friendship and a deeper bond. Maybe there is something beautiful about the darkest of blues.Naruto poured sake generously, and they all had a decent amount to drink. Sasuke was sipping on a beer by the time he noticed he was feeling the effects of all the alcohol. To his left, Naruto continued talking to Lee and Choji in a relaxed manner about something Sasuke didn’t feel like focusing on. The blond laughed out loud, shifting his weight as he spoke. He extended an arm behind Sasuke’s seat and left it there. Sasuke stopped dead in his tracks. He liked it. Fuck. No, no, no. I cannot get a crush on Uzumaki Naruto.
