Summary
El just wants to live her life, occasionally kill some maw-mouths, and help set up golden enclaves. Ideally, while spending time with her friends and enjoying freedom from the Scholomance. That's not too much to ask, right? But the world, the maw-mouths, and her magic have different plans for her. Because, of course they do.
This picks up after the trilogy ends and explores El, Aadhya, Liu, and Liesel’s journey fighting maw-mouths, keeping El's powers a secret, and other magical escapades. Plus snark. Lots and lots of snark.

Well, no use sugarcoating it–if you’re reading this, I’m dead. At least, I hope I’m dead instead of floating somewhere in the void contemplating my tiny existence, but chances seem pretty good that one of the billion mals took care of that. I think I officially have the most epic ‘die during graduation story’ and by booting the school off into the void, no one will ever be able to top it, so there’s that at least.
Tell Precious I knew she wouldn’t leave me so I had no choice but to throw her out the doors, and that I won’t apologize for saving her so she might as well stop sulking. I won’t apologize for saving anyone else either so you might as well stop sulking too.
Don’t let the Enclaves take credit for our work (okay, and Liesel’s work). You believed in me when no one else did. I know I don’t have anything to compare it to, but you're the best friends I could ever have imagined.

P.S. Aad, assuming he made it out, please stop by the New York Enclave every now and then and hit Orion with a stick for me. Don’t worry about the reason, I’m absolutely positive that he will have done any number of things to deserve it.

Aadhya cracked open the door and eyed me through the slit, before widening it and saying, “Oh, hey Orion.”
My eyes narrowed, and I leveled her with the kind of silent glare that routinely makes people flinch away from me. The one that only I can give. Sure, I’d forgive her at some point, but until then she might as well get used to being on the receiving end of my ire.
“Oh, shit,” she said, her eyes widening with the obvious realization that something had gone badly wrong.
Liu took one look at me and started laughing.
“What?”
“It’s just, well, you make him look so grumpy,” she responded, trying to cover her smile with the back of her hand.
I really might kill Aadhya for this.

Clarke’s trip to the City of Light doesn’t go as planned. Becca greets her with the news that if she doesn’t pull a lever and reset the time-loop to before the bombs were dropped, A.L.I.E will destroy the entire world and all of humanity. But if Clarke does this, there’s no guarantee that she and Lexa will meet in the new world she creates. Or, is there? When a butterfly flaps its wings everything can change.

This is not a time-travel story. Instead, each chapter is a different vignette showing the world that is created after Clarke "resets" the world. The chapters can stand alone and do not need to be read in order, but I do recommend reading the prologue first for some additional background. No major tags or warnings apply to any of the chapters. If there are trigger warnings for a specific chapter, I will note that in the author's notes at the start of that chapter.
