August 25th, 2018.
This was the exact day The Fall began. No one knew it.
Enter: Izuku Midoriya, standing by as his loved ones are killed off one by one, all until just his husband, his children, and himself remain. At age 34, the League of Villains is destroyed, leaving Izuku and All for One standing face to face. It's there, standing in that rubble-strewn street that Izuku loses everything once and for all, and pays the ultimate price.
Except he doesn't.
He wakes up, 34 years old and shoved back into his 14 year old body with scars he shouldn’t have. He's traumatized by events that never happened, torn up over the death of a husband that never was, and reeling from the loss of kids that will never be. Nothing makes any goddamn sense anymore, but he does know one thing for sure: somehow, someway, he has a second chance.
His name is Izuku Midoriya, and by God, as long as he's still breathing, he's going to do what he can to save the world.

Summary
Bam’s party gets into an altercation with a particular warlord on the 105th floor. Khun is captured and forced to join the ranks of the man's many spouses to humiliate him and infuriate Bam.
It works, except that said warlord is about to learn just how dangerous it is to allow someone like Khun, who literally grew up with this sort of intrigue, into a position where he can put his considerable skill in plotting and backstabbing to use.

Izuku is being haunted, that much is certain. The only question that remains is whether or not he wants to be.

Midoriya Izuku went missing for a week and turned up in a back alleyway with skills he's never even heard of and no memory of how he came by them. He resigns himself to never learning the truth of what happened to him, but he shouldn't waste this chance should he? He could become a hero with reflexes like these.

easily one of my favorite long fics.
it’s been so long since i’ve read a fanfic that is super long and caters to my preferences. the fic promises world building, and i got it. i swear there are a very few amount of fics that explore new concepts. the worldbuilding is about heroism not as a limelight hero. i love that the final arc of the fic also. undercover spy lives rent free in my head. this review doesnt do it justice, but i swear this is a favorite.

this fic is a female power trip; it’s so satisfying to read. contrary to the disturbing tags, the fic leans towards a lighter mood. ochako creates amusement by doing morally ambiguous things to people. and in typical ijuatwanttodestroy fashion, the character interactions are phenomenal through specifically dialogue, and the style of their writing is so nice. it’s like all the letters seamlessly become pictures in my mind

1/3rds of the time i’m screaming in of pain because it’s repeating canon, but 2/3ds of the fic is much more satisfying than canon. redemption and the resolve to be a better person is so powerful when it is written correctly. character growth is justified so well that im just really happy over how characters move forward. it’s a great fic for pulling emotions and empathy out of readers.

He makes every damn thing look effortless, but when Katsuki’s his opponent, he has to actually try for once.
So then– what the hell is he supposed to do when the half and half bastard stops trying?
Or: Bakugou and Todoroki have an arrangement to spar after school for stress relief. But when Todoroki starts looking and acting strangely, Bakugou starts to pay a little closer attention.

Katsuki remembers it, vaguely; they’d gone out for patrol and immediately gotten mobbed by Uwabami’s rabid fans. Some guy asked for a hug. He had most of his face covered, and he wouldn’t let go even though Uwabami kept telling him to stop. Yaoyorozu had seen it and Katsuki had stepped in, yanking him off Uwabami but the guy grabbed him instead and-
“Wait,” he says as his brain catches up with his ears. “What?”
“He tried to attack Uwabami,” says Kestrel patiently. “But you and Bakugou got in the way and-”
“Me and Bakugou?” says Katsuki, digging his ears. “I’m Bakugou.”
(Katsuki and Momo get bodyswapped during their internship. It's terrible. Partly because of the weird new jiggly bits, but mostly because Momo now has to deal with Katsuki's giant, nauseating crush on Izuku Midoriya.
And Katsuki, unfortunately, has to deal with fucking Todoroki.)

DAUMM. the author explores body swapping aspects so thoroughly. katsuki and momo deal with differences in anatomy, personality, and the other person’s body’s habits. they write so well! prose flows beautifully and the characters’ inner dialogue are so in character. i am all over the fic for writing under utilized characters in so well in character. when the POVs are katsuki (i am star struck when the author write emotional constipation, reading other people incorrectly, witty insults in an endearing way so well) and momo (who’s POV i never see and i love her already), who are both underutilized and are written well, im happy. the author goes hard especially in how katsuki changes his perspective through out the events. amazing fic.
