Screeching howls fill the air that turn into cries, the sounds travel through the wind that hits like an unforgiving freight train. Fire, the air smells like smoke, rotting flesh almost, the soul of the town is empty, just like the souls of it's residents trying to hold on to any last hope that it can be salvaged.
