Summary
Vector had been struggling terribly with one of his first big cases. Something that would officially put the Chaotix Detective Agency on the map, and hopefully attract new members. The problem was… he needed help, right now. He needed an expert tracker. Someone who could look danger in the eye, and not flinch at its many shocking teeth. Someone… who could pick up some of the slack he had been accumulating from his many, many, late night investigations. Someone who could… well… in short, Vector needed help, and fast. He found a way just the other day, and at a discount!
If only he had read through the fine print.
Vector would not be hiring a ninja.
He would be adopting a young chameleon from who knows where.

Summary
Shadow was a lone star. Shining bright for everyone to see, but never meant to catch. That is why when a proposal of epic proportions was made a little while ago, no one could quite believe the audacity of humans. To some, it reinforced that arrogant stereotype those creatures had cultivated.
The crazed mad doctor, Dr. Eggman as he’s called, had sent out flyers all across the western world. He wanted Shadow the Hedgehog, The Lone Star himself, to personally help him with a project of which no one else was allowed to speak of.
Everyone knows of course that The Lone Star doesn’t work for anybody. On top of that, he had a great bounty held over his head. The moment he stepped foot outside of the shadows from which he was born, every bounty hunter, their husbands, wives, uncles and aunts, would break the sound barrier just to reach him first.
So… some bodyguards were needed.
In comes Sonic and his newfound family. There was Knuckles, and also Tails. Together, they were known as quite the wranglers of bad actors. Bounty hunter was the typical name of the trade. Who better to drive away bounty hunters than their own kind?
Once again… the arrogance of humans.

Summary
Espio was out training, even though his new master, Vector, had said that he didn’t want him doing so without supervision. Ignoring his request altogether, he had decided to stir things up a little bit this session. He dipped a special type of poison onto the tip of each throwing star, setting a trap for himself. Typically, he would sneak as he usually did, and when he inevitably would trip the wires, he would dodge the weapons easily, but he must have grazed himself without realizing it.
Young Espio accidentally ends up hurting himself during a training session gone wrong, and can only communicate his feelings in a way that Vector had taught him, Sign language.

Summary
Knight of the Wind, Side Stories is a short series showing the origins of characters from my fic, Sonic, Knight of the Wind; Future King. Can be read in any order and don’t have much to do with the main story at hand. It’s something on the side, a little bit of something extra for this character!
Sir Percival’s story starts from her humble beginnings in her home country of the Heart of Gaia, to her coup of the Wizard King Eggman, her romance with Sir Lancelot and her struggle against her new home of Camelot, becoming something almost unrecognizable.
Each Side Story starts where Knight of the Wind begins.
