Summary
Jon remembers Tim. Specifically, he remembers how much of his own current identity he owes to someone who isn't around anymore, and it hurts. But it helps, too, to know that Tim will never really be gone. Not when he's such a big part of who Jon is.
(Or, a few flashbacks in which Tim helps Jon navigate being nonbinary. Set before season 1 of the Magnus Archives.)

Faulkner knows scarcity like the back of his hand. He also knows denial, the feeling of being a martyr for something greater and more terrifying than he will ever be. So if he skips a few meals here and there? Well. It's not entirely surprising.
(Alternate description: From the way Faulkner, his upbringing, and his eating habits are described in the podcast, I am completely convinced that this boy at least screens for some sort of disordered eating. So of course, I wrote a fic about it.)

It occurred to me that the end of episode 8 is probably the first time Faulkner has actually been picked up and held in a long, long time. (Even if it was just Carpenter grabbing him to save his life.) Hence, I had to write a character study about my poor touch-starved son.

Summary
Eddie Munson has had a hell of a day. The kind of day that makes it hard to look in the mirror. The kind of day that reminds him just how much of a freak he is in the eyes of this town. But that's okay, because he has DnD tonight. And if there's anywhere he can escape the shitty parts of real life, it's in the fantasy world of his own making. Nothing can touch him when he's with the Hellfire Club. Right? ...right?
(In which Eddie accidentally projects onto an NPC, the party is a lot kinder to that NPC than he expects, and an existential crisis ensues.)
