Summary
In the aftermath of Baelor's death, the Targaryen family splinters. All Maekar wants is to hold the remnants of his family close, but even he knows that Aerion cannot stay here, not with Baelor's ghost still wandering the halls.
Dunk has had enough of princes for a lifetime, but Baelor's memory will not let him turn away from the wreckage before him. When Maekar begs him to take Aegon on as his squire, he accepts, and when Maekar begs him to look after Aerion, Dunk cannot turn him away. He is determined to fulfill his duty as Baelor's man, and to do it well, Aerion be damned.
Aerion's life crumbles down around his shoulders in the span of a single afternoon. The Maesters say his leg may never fully heal, his own father cannot look him in the eye, and his family wishes he had died in his uncle's stead. When he finds himself exiled to Lys with only the brother who hates him and the knight who maimed him for company, he is certain he's being sent off to die.
Fortunately, the gods have other plans.

Summary
Baelor lived through the Trial, escaping his own destiny. Duncan the Tall was taken into the Prince's service, a life far greater than a hedge knight could have ever wanted. A decision was settled upon Aerion: he was to be sent to Braavos for his own discipline, hoping this would change him. It was a sentence that left Maekar in a state of terror for his only Omega son.
But the gods are rarely kind to those who are cruel. A news soon struck the Red Keep; a nightmare known only to them.Taken by Pirates.
Dangerous words for a fate no one expected. Baelor, driven to get his nephew back to safety, formed a crew of men to bring him home. The duty settled on Dunk. He hadn’t cared for the boy at first, but when Baelor asked, he did not hesitate, knowing this might be the only chance to challenge his own worth.
But nothing could have prepared him for what they found. Through cruelty upon cruelty, he found a Prince he no longer recognized—someone empty, and fragile. Duncan knows his vows, but one must wonder if he can stay true to his duty while risking his life for a Prince he once hated. To even realize the truth of what they have become... and if it may already be far too late. -

“What is it?” Duncan says. He sounds so nervous. He still thinks he’s going to be able to tell Aerion about the divorce.
His alpha can be so adorable sometimes.
Aerion places a hand on his stomach and says, “I’m pregnant! You're going to be a father.”

Famously cold A-lister Aerion Targaryen and his younger brother's friend, newcomer Duncan Tall, are cast as lovers in HBO's upcoming LGBTQ+ series Heated Chivalry.
The show follows the cruel Prince Robert (Aerion) and Ser Wymon (Dunk), a hedge knight forced to become the prince's personal guard after an altercation. Forced to spend every waking moment together, they go from enemies to reluctant allies to something more.
Paparazzi photos and fan accounts explode with speculation. Their PR managers see an opportunity: a fake dating arrangement would promote the show, boost Dunk's career, and finally silence the years of rumors about Aerion's sexuality.
So they make a deal: fake date until the season finishes airing.
Except somewhere between the staged dates and the twelve-hour days filming love scenes, the lines blur.
Or: Aerion and Dunk have to pretend to slowly fall in love on-screen, which then coincidentally moves off-screen as they start fake dating to promote the show and boost their image. Too bad it’s all fake, right?
