A Wolfwood sickfic because I love him :) *Evil laugh*
The Punisher slips from his grasp as Wolfwood doubled over, pressing a hand against his mouth as he takes a few shallow breaths. He shuts his eyes as the sand moves, clasping a hand against his knee as he lurches again, swallowing several times. He felt like shit. His head was killing him. His body, dizzy, uncomfortable, too warm. But there was no way he was puking in front of Blondie. No way he was puking right now.
The ground shakes again, and Wolfwood almost loses his balance as the dirt under him shifts. He opens his eyes, squinting against the bright light piercing behind his tented lenses. He lets out another shallow breath as his stomach settles and straightens his posture as the nausea passes. He shuddered, wiping the sweat painted against his face with his shoulder as he peered towards the right, where the movement had been. His eyes meet empty space, and he feels disoriented and unsteady. The desert heat rising in clear waves over the vast wasteland.

Even though Wolfwood had not been aware of it before, and was still hesitant to confront. These are just my notes (thoughts) outlined for a fanfiction that I am thinking about writing. Be warned that there are canon spoilers for the manga in here (namely a major character death, which I point out right at the beginning of my notes). These are just notes! No timeline specifically, no order, not really scenes, just thoughts that I wanted to post to at least get out there so I can stop thinking about it; and maybe write the modern college AU so (shrugs). I'm not even sure about the title lol or chapter names or anything but this idea won't leave me so I'm posting notes (I know it's a jumbled mess of word vomit). Sorry it's not a fic guys- maybe I'll try my hand this weekend, but then again... I never finished my Klance because I started using the idea for a novel, so like (screams into the void), yeah... Like I want to put this idea towards a book but like the world is already built and it fits, so idk... maybe I can do both. So, I guess I'll see where things go... There were nights when the car's interior felt stifling, like there wasn’t enough air inside the small vehicle for them all to share, never mind the windows being cracked open to let the cold desert breeze whisper in and out. On those nights Vash’s breaths would grow painfully shallow and fast. He’d try in vain to steady them, afraid of waking the others with his pitiful panting, afraid – illogically – of using up more than his fair share of the oxygen within the vehicle.

Rem had told the story exactly once, but even a hundred and fifty years later Vash remembered it perfectly.
"Once upon a time," she'd said, smoothing a hand through his hair. Her other hand had traveled the same path through Nai's, nails just as gentle and soothing on his scalp as they were on Vash's. It was something that he could feel just below his skin, his brother's contentment. It wouldn't be until it was too late that Vash would realize Nai could project lies across the connection they'd been born with. Vash, at the time, had never thought to try to lie.
Nai, he would suspect later, had known that.
"Once upon a time," he'd echoed happily.

"I, well, I need to take off my prosthetics," Vash muttered just barely loud enough for Wolfwood to hear. He was staring at the floor refusing to look at Wolfwood.
"Oh alright, you need help taking your arm off?" Wolfwood responded calmly, unsure of why such a simple thing was causing Vash such stress. He had seen him with his arm off a couple times but he had never considered that wearing it for too long could cause him pain.
"Well, see it's not just that," Vash paused and Wolfwood waited as patiently as he could though he was confused and frustrated by this point. He had never been a patient man. "Both my legs are prosthetic too." Vash finally admitted, barely loud enough for Wolfwood to hear.
