This book picks up where Book 2, Quo Vadis, left off. The first arc is on Caprica where we'll be looking in on Caprica Six and those with her along with Lyla Elway, Richard Beyer, and Peter Laird who made their escape from the Pegasus and landed on Caprica and are now in the city of Pylos. Sam Anders, his resistance cell wiped out, is now alone carrying vital information that might be vital in the future. Future arcs will include Lee Adama trying to reach Alessandra, the Elysia welcoming a new member to the family, Callista and her people on the Dione searching for more refugees and scouting the Cyrannus sector, the Galactica and its fleet fighting for survival, and looming in the shadows Cain and the Pegasus, Cavil's machinations, and the Alythian Imperium as Alessandra and her chosen try to figure out what their role in shaping the future is going to be.
