REPENT, an organization, asks them to.
None of the bookrats quite remember how they wound up here. They only know that REPENT helps to keep them alive, helps them to do good…even if they’re doing bad.
They’re given names randomly, of people to find and kill. While the names can be researched and refused, often they aren’t. Most of them are people using their power to take advantage, people stealing from those less fortunate, or the lowest scum on earth. Why say no?
Repent has never been anything but good to the bookrats. And they live a nice life here in this quaint little down. That should never change. Should it?

This is realistic as hell. Considering it was supposed to be a VERY short story and spawned from a Pinterest post, this was more than just impressive. This is a story I recommend to Reylo fans, to Stormpilot fans, even if they don't play a huge role, and to Star Wars fans in general. This was well written and I could actually see it like a movie in my mind. The plot, from beginning to end was perfect and the dialogue was just so amazing that I would LOVE to see the characters say these things in the movie.
