Summary
Modern surfing AU. In the shadows of Long Island's luxury, Levi and Historia (25), two friends with benefits, foster a group of local orphaned and/or poor kids, trying to give them a shot at a better life. Armin has a chance to enter a professional surfing career. At the same time, he and his best childhood friend, Eren, start to explore their sexuality and mutual feelings for each other. (Please note: they are both around 16 when the story starts, and certain teen sex related issues will be discussed; I (or they) haven’t decided yet when they will go there, just be warned it might happen when they both are 17 which is the legal consent age where they are. I will update tags/warnings accordingly if this will be the case.)
A mysterious stranger (Erwin) appears in town and the status quo is shaken...
(Please note that Historia is aged (25 yrs old), kids are kids, though their age might differ from canon, eg. Mikasa is slightly older than Eren and Armin)
As usual, canon characters belong to their rightful owners, the rest is mine. The story and the characters are fictional. Possible similarities to RL Long Island places (unless they are iconic, well know locations) and people would be purely coincidental.

Another test chapter/scenes for a fix-it fic, following the idea of Historia joining the scouts and Levi, in Shiganshina. Written with the RivaHisu Week 2021 in mind, for the Angst day, but I couldn't hurt them... so its angst and hurt-comfort kind of a ficlet. I just let characters loose (the touching they did, it was all them). Also I am mesmerised by Hisu being all badass and powerful.
The story uses parts of the episode 55 of the anime.
Prompts: 'You are such a brat' and 'Do you ever wish for things you know you shouldn’t?'.
