Summary
This work will span from the beginning of Mass Effect 3, showing Garrus' struggles with his heritage, the Reapers and, most importantly, with Commander Shepard.
Garrus is wasting away his days on Palaven, trying not to worry about Shepard's whereabouts since the news of the Reapers' invasion of Earth. He currently deals with training young recruits and is suddenly faced with a problem he's not sure he can get out of. Garrus takes up a new mantle of responsibly to aid the war effort, and must fight for what he believes in as well as his love for Shepard.

Summary

Under the assumption that they are Alliance, they are sent with Shepard to stand trial, but Shepard realizes that the woman calling herself the Inquisitor is really not from their time, and she must go about getting her home.

The glass windows exploded into crystal powder and the deep bellow of the Reaper’s ship made Garrus’ plates vibrate from under his desk. He realised a few things all at once, the least of which being that he was now responsible for the lives of everyone in the building that was probably coming down pretty soon. With a Reaper standing outside.
He hoped wherever Shepard was, she was faring better.
