Summary
(Not 7Ds I just wanted to do an alternate take on “Flynn plays card games”. You could consider this 7Ds’ manga equivalent I guess considering the post-DM mangas are completely different from their animes.) In a world that never experienced an apocalypse after many perilous struggles two childhood friends made it to the top of the dueling world. Their ambition had made it so or did it? That’s what Flynn had thought before happening upon what he wasn’t supposed to see. It seemed that Issachar had hid something from behind the curtain. When Flynn had stumbled upon it by happenstance he never expected what he would uncover.
Honestly I don’t know if I’ll ever port 7Ds from Fanfiction.Net because that would be a lot of chapters. Considering Maryū is pretty early in its easier.
Note: Any cards that would normally be completely banned are limited to one copy.

It's said that there is a phenomenon known as the Mandala System where worlds brought into existence by a Creator are in turn destroyed by those chosen by the Axiom, known as Messiahs. The reincarnations of one from the previous world, they establish a new world in their image, only for it to soon be destroyed by yet another Messiah. And so, the cycle continues on. That being said, there is a world where Flynn, the reincarnation of the boy who saved Tokyo by fusing with Masakado and establishing the Firmament above, upon which the Kingdom of Mikado thrived, became a Messiah in his own right and brought about either a world of law, a world of chaos, or a world of harmony between the two.
This isn't that world. I mean, it's similar, but instead of Flynn, the reincarnation is an impertinent young man named Comus with a curse that prevents his demons from being revived, a foul-mouthed defective Burroughs AI, and a strange metabolic aura that leads both him and his demons to gain weight at an accelerated rate. The world is similar in many ways, like I said, but it's also quite different in a number of ways...

Reflecting on this, I wondered what other stories one could completely cut out the conflict to make a story for literal babies. My friend told me to do SMT IV.

Flynn and his friend Issachar are sent off to Solitude in Skyrim to bolster the Imperial forces as the Stormcloaks start turning the tide in the Civil War. However, before they could set foot in Skyrim their entire battalion is attacked by vampires. If things couldn’t get worse Flynn awakens from the attack alone with all of his belongings stolen from him in his sleep by bandits. Thus begins Flynn’s gruelingly long march to Solitude.
