Stained glass shards make a jagged kaleidoscope against the pale marble floor, crunching and splintering under the feet of the intruders. And here Balthier had been worried he'd be bored at the Marquis' party.

The Shield, instead of finding Iwatani Naofumi of an ordinary Earth, it found Iwatani Naofumi of Konoha. Naofumi, still being a student of the Academy, naturally didn't want to get in trouble for a book that came out of nowhere so like a good student, he handed it to his teacher...Uzumaki-Uchiha Hinata. And Hinata, sensing strange energy from the book, took it to the Hokage Tower to investigate with her husband, Nanadaime Hokage Uzumaki Naruto. And while sitting on him, the summoning magic activated, stealing them right under the eyes of the Shadow Hokage, Uchiha Sasuke. Needless to say, the Uchiha is not just going to let that slide. That was his brother and his wife kidnapped, damn it!With the Winter King of Konoha in Melromarc, messing with the ultra paranoid Hokage is not going to be a walk in the park of the foolish King or his insidious psychopathic Princess. Also, Naruto is just parading around as the Shield Hero. Like he'll let his wife be bullied.

Of course, Basch, ever worried, would think the worst. Given, they roused the poor man in the middle of the night; a bit of leeway must be given. Meanwhile the maid scampers aside, leaving Larsa the clear view of his knight and the two sky pirates loitering at the sidelines. He seems unfazed by their presence. He takes one look, a long one around the room, and says:
