Erik lives, but returns to Wakanda and asks for sanctuary when he discovers Linda had left him a son - a son that Hydra is trying to use as collateral to force Erik to help them create the perfect soldier. Safe behind Wakanda's walls, Erik finds more support than he expected, and learns to be a father while making a place for himself in the new Wakanda that T'Challa is forging.
