I died. Yeah, that’s right. I kicked the bucket.
Now here I am. In this world. A world I was obsessed with. The one I used to pick apart for plot holes, scoff at for its “incompetent” characters, roll my eyes at for decisions that made no damn sense.
I read fanfics. Loads of them. Devoured theories, lore, timelines. Thought I had it all sussed. I truly believed I knew this universe.
Was I right? Well... in a few things. A very few things.What I never really understood—what most of the fandom never really does—is this:
It’s one thing to watch the films or read the pages and think, Yeah, I’d be smarter than that. I’d do it better. It’s a whole different beast when you're actually in the world—living it. Breathing it. Seeing all the tiny cracks and chaos the books glossed over.
Still...let’s see if I can change a few things for the better. Or at the very least... give it a bloody good try.
Or the story of how an ordinary bloke, who happened to like the world of Harry Potter, ended up reincarnated as the protagonist... only to realise things aren’t nearly as simple as he thought. Changing canon? Sounded way easier in his head.
