Harry felt his eyes widen in surprise. It was different, this was different. Similar, yet not. It used to be the Malfoy name first, a name that was held with pride and flaunted. A name that would reward him with what he wanted, even in spite of a sour attitude and prissy expression as a kid. But things have changed, years have passed and a maturity that was forced upon them too soon. They could both choose who they wanted to be now, and forge new beginnings even even with those who it seemed impossible with not even that long ago.
Harry smiled softly, reaching out and clasping his hand in the others. Malfoy – Draco's hand was soft, Harry was unsure whether to be surprised about that or not, and there was an unexpected clamminess to it, “Harry. Harry Potter. But it's just Harry to my friends.”
