Summary
The café first caught Kate’s eye in late March, when the temperature was starting to consistently be above forty and she was walking around her neighborhood again on nice days. The front was a cheerful spring green with white lettering proclaiming it the “Lucky Lucy’s Kitty Café” with little white paw prints drawn in a meandering path all across the building. There were cat trees in the big glass window with cats playing on them, and one cat with long black and brown hair was staring at Kate with narrowed golden eyes.
Kate starts going to her local cat café.

The sound of Jed locking the last chain in place echoed through the cell, and Ben shuddered. Jed looked at him askance. “You okay?”
“Yes,” Ben said, because he wanted to be and because he didn’t want to waste this opportunity to earn Jed’s forgiveness.
“You sure? You look kinda pale. You didn’t die today, did you? Damn, I should’ve thought to bring a chair down here.”
“I didn’t die today,” Ben said, fond and warm. It felt like a good sign that Jed was worrying over his well being like this. “I don’t like seeing you in chains.”

Summary
The throne room was silent, which was unusual on a Tuesday afternoon since that was when the Round Table had their weekly meeting. Today, however, Arthur had dismissed his knights early, as there was no current crisis to manage or tricky problem for them to pick through, and it was a lovely day outside. He only had a few more reports to read before he put down his work for the day himself and spent the rest of his evening with his family. Merlin had no pressing matters to deal with today and was instead somewhere in the castle, playing with their daughter. Arthur intended to join them as soon as possible.
As if Arthur’s thoughts had summoned him, Merlin burst through the doors. Arthur smiled at him, dropping the reports and standing, happy to have the excuse to give up on his duties early. "Merlin, I was just thinking -"
“I lost Clara!”
Merlin loses their daughter during a game of hide and seek, and he and Arthur have to figure out why she's so hard to find.

It was a normal morning. They were sitting at their dining table, eating blueberry and lemon crepes and eggs over easy, a compromise between Magnus’s cravings and Alec’s. Magnus was telling Alec about the wards he needed to adjust that day, animated and excited as he described the details of his work, waving a fork with some crepe on it for emphasis; and Alec was watching him, adoring every minute expression that crossed his husband’s face.
And then it happened.
Magnus sneezed.
Magnus accepting he has a cold and needs to take care of himself, shown through the five stages of grief. As in the grief he's giving Alec because he's grumpy about being sick.

Jed felt Ben's hand move up to Jed's chest and grip him tight, and the brush of lips on the back of his neck right before he fell asleep.

He looked behind the first one and there it was, a kitten no bigger than his hand, staring at him with one green eye, the other swollen shut. It was skinny and had fur missing in a couple places, and Mickey could see the fleas on it even in the shadow of the dumpster. It meow-squeaked at him again before wobbling on spindly legs over to Mickey.
Mickey finds a kitten. Ian wants to keep it; Mickey's not so sure.
