It feels wrong, in its own way, to even be in Chloe’s room like this. Her vision blurs with tears as she glances around. A small part of Max almost expects Chloe to walk in any second now and try to rope her into whatever asinine plan she’d just come up with. Except... Chloe is dead and it still doesn’t feel real.
