Summary
Months after an Expositor left on a ship and never returned, Expositor Lionett is tasked with following in her footsteps to see if she can uncover any clues about her disappearance. With the help of the Mighty Nein and the Nein Heroez, she must travel through the Fool's Curtain to the Shattered Teeth to see if the missing Expositor made it through - a journey that many ships do not complete.
When strange things begin to happen aboard the Nein Heroez, it becomes uncertain if they will cross the foggy veil at all.

It should have been a quiet, peaceful life, but all of that is jeopardized when they begin to hear voices from the corn and experience strange happenings in their new home. What secrets lay hidden in the corn?
