Summary
Dis begins menstruating while the dwarves are in the wilderlands. The dwarvish women try to celebrate, but the dwarves are rather destitute, the males of Dis's family are ashamed that they lost Erebor, and Dis seems fated to be the mother of kings who no longer have a throne.
Let's be honest, it's all Durin Family Feels and fertility worship and an obsession on the body and sexuality.

Summary
Thorin returns to her in the late summer, at the end of the season of war. The dwarves with whom she has been living are not unkind, but there’s no love lost between them, and she has been waiting breathlessly for her family to return to her, and to take her away from this place.
The only one who returns is Thorin, bruised and battered and achingly, achingly alone.
---
In which Thorin returns after the Battle of Azanulbizar, and Dis mourns their dead. Just a lot of Dis-centric feels, because that's how I roll. Also, mourning rituals. And feeding the dead. And libations! Libations are poured.

Written for the Hobbit kink meme prompt: “Dís, Fíli & Kíli - swimming lessons. Doesn’t matter if the lads are kids, adolescents or adults - I just want their mum teaching them how to swim.”
It's a 'Dis and her boys' fic, exploring motherhood, pregnancy, and how you learn to love your children. WARNING: there are brief thoughts of infanticide.

Summary
A prequel of sorts to The Beautiful Halls, in which Thorin explains the need of the engagement to Dwalin, Thorin and Dwalin try to figure out how to be friends again, and Dis is frustrated that everyone else is making decisions concerning her children.
In short: What do you do when you have three princes, but only two thrones?

Summary
From my tumblr: "Anonymous asked: For a prompt, can you please write a fic of Kili as a child? When he was getting into trouble with Fili and fighting the boys who made fun of him and crying into Dis' skirts and clambering over Thorin's lap and demanding Dwalin to carry him?"
Dis struggles with raising her sons, especially Kili, who gets lost in his rage, who hits and scratches and bites, who cries until he makes himself sick. Kili is different--difficult--and Dis doesn't know if she can ever be enough for him.
Durin Family Feels, single parenthood, tough childhoods, clingy children, sibling interdependence, and more mother&son feelings than you can shake a stick at.

Thorin, Age 15
Dwalin, Age 5
Ori, Age 20
Kili, Age 20Pretty much a lot of family feels, especially mother-and-son and sibling feels. And a few cousin feels.

Summary
Written for a prompt on my tumblr: the first time Dwalin realized that Kili isn't the pudgy faced child he used to be, but an attractive young dwarf that he can't seem to keep his hands off of.
Dwalin returns to Ered Luin for the first time in years, and soon realizes that Kili is nearly an adult. Cue awkward feelings of confusion and regret, because the engagement is suddenly becoming rather real in Dwalin's head.

Written for another prompt on my tumblr: Can you please write about Fili and the relationship between Kili and Dwalin from his point of view? I'm interested in what he thinks about it
Fili and Dis talk about Kili, Dwalin, and how princes should love. It's all family loyalty and familial love.

Summary
A fill for a Hobbit Kink Meme prompt: "Dwalin is supposed to be Thorin's closest friend in the film-verse, so he promised his younger nephew to Dwalin which is a huge honour etc, royal line blah blah.
It's up to you as to how Dwalin feels about it, (he gets a hot younger husband or Kili is a notorious handful?) but Kili is super excited and fangirling over Dwalin all over the place."
Kili has been engaged to Dwalin since he was a child, as a measure of protection and family solidarity. Now that the dwarves are retaking Erebor, Kili's social and political clout is growing, which means that his engagement will most likely be reevaluated and changed to better benefit Erebor. Pretty much everything falls apart.
It's all sexual politics, Durin Family Feels, dubious consent, and the question of what sex is and what constitutes virginity.
Oh, and lots of touching.

Summary
During the journey to Erebor, Kili and Gandalf have a conversation about wizards--which becomes a conversation about the races of Middle Earth, and what it means to be a race created by Aule.
Really, it's all just dwarf and Aule feelings, and Gandalf being equally enchanted and exasperated by young dwarves.
