Summary
The vines around Steve's throat are pulling too tightly on his already damaged throat. He's struggling as much as he can, but his vision is blurring quickly and something in his mind says he might not get out of this. He just hopes Robin and Nancy do, he hopes they'll be okay. He hopes Robin won't be too upset with him if he dies, and then his world fades away.
Steve also dies in the upside down, and this story follows Robin as she navigates the aftermath of it. The story will lightly follow the plot of Season 4 Volume 2.
I took the opposite approach of most folks here, and instead of fixing the canon, I made it worse.
