Summary
In a universe where every single person on Earth is promised a soulmate, you would think it to be a comfort. To know that there is a person out there who will love you no matter what. The problem is that soulmates are identified by a mark on your body. An imprint on your skin that shows the first place that your person will touch. The mark will burst into an array of different colors, confirming the identity of the soulmate.
My mark is inky black in color, in the shape of a hand that runs fingerprint to palm across my left cheekbone.

Summary
In a world where each and every person has their own unique way of discovering their soulmate, something we call a tell. I would argue that I was stuck with one of the worst tells there is. Some of the luckiest people get to hear their soulmates thoughts in their heads, some are able to communicate through dreams, and others have their first words tattooed on their wrist. I didn't get any of those. No, not those or the tell of share drawings through our skin and I didn't get the tell of a clock counting down towards our moment of meeting.
Instead, I have the tell of sharing my soulmates pain, and let me tell you, he has no shortage of pain to share.
