Summary
In which Enjolras locks Jehan and Bossuet out on the fire escape, most everyone is unhelpful, there is an issue to put out, for god’s sake, and Courfeyrac has to be a (sort-of) hero in an ironic Christmas sweater.

Fandoms: Les Misérables - All Media Types

Tags
Summary
In which Eponine and Courfeyrac involve themselves in things that are not really their business (but it's probably for the best), Joly cannot copy-edit, it's a wonder anything ever gets done, really, and Enjolras makes an apology.

That Time Enjolras Gets Locked Into His Own Press by astrid_fischer
Fandoms: Les Misérables - All Media Types

Summary
“I will strangle every single one of you with my bare hands,” Enjolras calmly informs the locked door in front of him.
“That’s not very pacifistic of you,” Courf calls from the other side, making a tsking sound. “Besides, think how much work you’d have to do if you killed all your employees. That’s just poor management.”
In which Enjolras and Grantaire are locked in the A.B.C. Press, there is a serious misuse of barricades, everyone else goes to the Musain (unfortunately for the Musain), and an argument is (mostly) resolved.

What Everyone Does for Valentine's Day by astrid_fischer
Fandoms: Les Misérables - All Media Types
15 Feb 2013
Tags
Summary
In which there are proclamations of love, daffodils, stolen roses, pink-and-red streamers, spilled tea, a commandeered newspaper, a Valentine's'd press office, a red dress in the rain, more fire escapes, blanket hoarding, Audrey Hepburn, lost opera tickets, and Funfetti cupcakes.

Summary
A few minutes of silence tick past, and then, “Enjolras,” Courfeyrac tries again.
“I will kill you,” Enjolras returns in a voice that is groggy from sleep but still deeply terrifying.
*****
In which everyone has a sleepover at Combeferre's, Courfeyrac is (shockingly) that kid who won't be quiet and go to sleep, and they may need to find a new circulation manager after all.
Set immediately after 'Up in Smoke.'

Summary
Grantaire’s lying stretched out on one of the motley crew of bargain shop desks in the small upstairs room tonight’s party had christened the A.B.C. Press. The smell of fresh paint is heavy, even with the cold clean air creeping in through the cracked 1920s windows (“An easy fix,” Enjolras had promised, when he noticed Feuilly edging closer to the ancient radiator and Joly pulling a third lumpy sweater over his head).
In which a press is founded, most everyone is (not) asleep, and the editor has a conversation with the resident cynic.

April First at the A.B.C. Press by astrid_fischer
Fandoms: Les Misérables - All Media Types

Tags
Summary
In which Enjolras manages to play an April Fools' joke on everyone without really meaning to, there is a mild amount of panic, and it's someone's birthday (but keep it quiet, will you?).

Summary
The atmosphere in the office is tense and exhausted, nerves frayed from the argument going on in the center of the room: clipped words and snapped accusations and snarky retorts, and it’s been going on, to one degree or another, all fucking day (and since it’s just past four and they’ve been up since six, that’s saying something).
And for once, it’s not Enjolras and Grantaire in the middle of it.
*****
In which everyone's just moved back into the sort-of-repaired press office, there’s an argument about slander (or is it libel?) and the mob, a lot of things are said, and someone’s name is stricken off the masthead.

Summary
“I hadn’t thought this through,” Grantaire admits.
“You mean, navigating the awkward subject of sleeping arrangements after kissing the person whose apartment you were crashing in before said kissing?” Enjolras asks, lips quirking up. His blond hair is ruffled up in a halo first from sleep, and then from Grantaire’s clutching fingers. “Somehow, I didn’t think you had.”
