Summary
Detective Ema Skye is at a murder scene when her irritating boss, Prosecutor Klavier Gavin, shows up. It's pretty unusual for the glimmerous fop to make an appearance at a crime scene, but he explains that nothing about the case made sense when he looked at the file. Klavier wanders around the house with Ema, getting more and more unsettled – and not only by the appalling interior design choices of the late occupant. They eventually find out why the victim was killed, and Klavier collapses. Ema has to call his best friend, Detective Daryan Crescend, to find out how to help him.
The next day, Ema visits Klavier at home where his older brother Kristoph is taking care of him, and learns why he was so upset the day before. It turns out that he is a survivor of childhood abuse.
Story is set in February 2025, a year before the events of Ace Attorney 4: Apollo Justice and two years before A False Sense of Urgency.

Summary
While waiting for Phoenix Wright to resit the bar exam, Apollo is spending his spare time at the courthouse taking notes on other people's trials. He's watching Klavier prosecute when the appearance of a new witness triggers the prosecutor into a severe panic attack. Apollo finds Klavier very unwell in a nearby bathroom and takes care of him, with a surprising amount of help (and science) from Ema Skye. Then Apollo drives Klavier home, spends the rest of the day keeping him company, and finds out the many unpleasant ways in which the inside of Klavier's head is broken.

Klavier wants to make love to Apollo for the first time. Easier said than done considering that he's a sexual abuse survivor and his body doesn't work the way he'd like it to. Fortunately, Apollo cares much more about Klavier's mental health than his own physical pleasure. With love and understanding, they're able to find something which works.
