Mu Qing just stares straight ahead pretending to not hear a thing, definitely not fighting the flush that crawled up his neck.
The whispers are immediate.Feng Xin seems to finally realize his mistake before stuttering out a “my apologies, General Xuanzhen,” which only makes Mu Qing want to slam his head on the table even more, because the only thing weirder than Feng Xin calling him “Love” in front of everyone is Feng Xin apologizing to him courteously.
