There’s only a grunt in response from the man. Jason glares at the sky, too lazy to turn his head, “Bruce,” he mimics mockingly, “Tim is being a little bitch.”
“Bruce,” Tim calls, “tell Jason just because he’s hearing voices that doesn’t mean we all have to stay up too.”
“Bruce,” Jason huffs, “tell Tim no one is stopping him from going the fuck to sleep.”
“Father,” this time it’s Damian that speaks, sounding annoyed, “tell these morons that some people would like to actually sleep.”
“Bruce,” Tim and Jason speak together, in a strange show of unity that probably won’t happen again."

"He doesn’t get past the second tire.
The street is dark and silent and damp, like all alleyways in Gotham; the only sound echoing off the walls is Jason’s heavy breathing as he tries to finish his job as quick as possible.
So when a hand grabs him by the back of his shirt and lifts, Jason screams.
He screams bloody murder, because for all he knows it might as well be, and he thrashes and kicks and claws.
“Hey, hey, stop that, dammit,” it’s a woman’s voice, gruff and annoyed, and a little amused. It doesn’t mean shit, not in Crime Alley, this can still be the beginning of his murder story, but Jason decides to open his eyes at least, take a look on his wannabe murderer. “Jesus, kid, should’ve known you’d be a biter.”
or, alternatively, Kate Kane is the one that finds Jason stealing tires, and she might still be figuring out how to be an adult, but leaving a kid on the streets in the middle of winter is not something she's willing to do.

“Why don’t we have any coffee?” Jason asks, confused. On his sleep-clouded mind, it makes no sense, so he asks again, louder. “Guys, why there’s no coffee?”
A voice drifts from the room next door, which he has no idea what it is. Bizarro’s ship has so many rooms, and so many doors, and it all changes constantly– just slightly, just to confuse him, Jason is sure. Sometimes, this goddamn ship feels like it’s out to get him, specifically him. “Because you forgot to buy it.” A pause, then almost as an afterthought, “idiot.”
Ah, that’s Artemis then. Bizarro is much nicer."
or, alternatively, Jason is on a quest, and Artemis and Bizarro are unhelpful in very different ways.

“Hell yeah,” he says haughtily, “I can think of at least six things to improve, and that’s just here, off the top of my head.”
