Summary
This story begins twelve years after the events of Rebuild Yourself Slowly. Monroe has five children ages 14 and under, Connor has two children of his own. Miles will always be Miles; Aaron and Priscilla are still a part of their family. Over the years, the farm they were left has become a true enterprise and the Monroe family is well off indeed. The only resource Bass cannot provide his children is that of their mother... Or, can he? What happens when a force that is as powerful as any god sees from afar the struggle of a man who just wants to be there for his family but is unable to let go of the past and the one person that made his world whole?
