    does volunterring at ao3 count towards the mandatory volunteer hours so.e schools need to graduate? (if it does im volunteering)

      It depends a bit on the requirements of your school but, yes, in general, the Organization for Transformative Works is a registered nonprofit, which is often the main requirement that allows for volunteering with us to count towards educational volunteering requirements.

      When it comes to Tag Wrangling in specific, folks who work with our committee make use of data management tools to maintain and improve user experience via the optimization and standardization of data submitted by site users in free-form language, if we're being fancy about it. This makes us a particularly good fit for student volunteers looking to meet volunteer requirements or satisfy course credit requirements related to volunteer hours in data management and related fields.

      We're also happy to provide work references and recommendations for our volunteers as well. All our volunteers work very hard and we do our best to provide what we can to help them out in return for the time they donate helping maintain the Archive. 💜

        Can you get the signatures needed for time volunteered?
        Or can you tell how long we worked for?

        i honestly have no idea if its different in other states but my school/distric needs a certain amount of hours to graduate.
