        hi there! the 'yay otw' in my og comment was a reference to a previous comment i saw that said something along the lines of "two of these candidates just have buzzwords and have platforms that can be summed up as 'yay otw'". i hope this helps!!

      There are people at work trying to reform the OTW's leadership and establish it as a proper absolute monarchy (as Providence intended, for who would decline leadership of a fine lion in favor of two hundred rats?) but we're having problems finding the current living descendant(s) of the first fanfic writer.

        There usually isn't an actual election. These seats might as well be uncontested, and the candidates are clones with seemingly no power. The whole thing looks like a legal checkbox being ticked.
