      The OTW is the Organization for Transformative Works. It's the parent organization that controls the AO3, and the board is the people who control it. Someone correct me if I'm wrong though.

      The OTW is a non-profit organization which oversees several fannish projects, including Ao3. Every year we hold an election to pick new Directors for the OTW's Board of Directors. You can find information about the Board's duties on our website. The candidates will be currently serving volunteers who meet the eligibility requirements and declare their candidacy before the deadline.

      Anyone who made one donation of at least $10 USD to the OTW before June 30th and checks the box for membership will be eligible to vote in these elections. If you'd like to check your current membership status, you can contact us via our contact form.

      News about elections will be posted here on Ao3. Alternatively, you can follow us directly on Tumblr, Twitter/X or BlueSky.
