ahh yes the gay road trip properly begins... mega fan of this chapter, for some reason i love it whenever characters are in grocery stores? i can't explain it, but due to my strange tastes this chapter check all the boxes for me. i love seeing toki and murderface slowly get closer with one another, yet murderface obviously is far from trusting him at all, yet they're still becoming friends (or more than, at least eventually), ugh it's all SO good. i've said this before, but i am unspeakably excited to see their relationship develop over the course of this fic. as someone who lives in indiana i deeply appreciated all the dunking on it in this chapter, i agree wholeheartedly it is indeed not worth the trouble. (also shrimp chips mention! man i should get some next time i'm at the store... wait, is this entire fic just some long con shrimp chips advertisement!? heheh jk)
Im planning to drag their road trip as long as possible so they'll be getting into shenanigans, im excited to get to the meat and potatoes of this fic finally!!! But yes idk there's something so domestic about grocery shopping together, its like the first base of friendship. I do not mean to dunk on Indiana, I have never been there, but ik damn well Murderface hates his hometown so there will be alot of slander based on any information i find through google. And yes i need everyone to get on shrimp chips now because the nearest Asian grocery store is like 40 minutes away I need my local grocery store to start buying them so I have easy access
