Thank you! Yeah the only reason I was interested in it at all is the pure dysfunction of Paul being into it (especially with John) when the tension between him and Jim (& John ofc) is so contentious. Jim and Paul are such a fascinating dynamic to me because there are so many stories Jim either completely misunderstanding Paul or being genuinely kind of horrible, and yet they clearly both had a lot of love for each other. Even as an old man Paul really seems to revere him.
Ahhh I’m glad you liked John trying to be the steady one while Paul’s off the rails! I really liked writing that role reversal, and John’s experience of it.
