Thank you so much for writing such a deep thoughtful description of the Paul-Jim-John dynamic. It's so often portrayed as just John and Jim being petty and silly but it's so much more complex than that. It's a chance to show why Paul is the way he is and to show how sincerely John loves Paul and unlike so many authors, you took that chance and really used this dynamic to spotlight some important things. Your writing is gorgeous. You had me laughing, turned on, angry, and soft. This will definitely be a favorite fic I will reread over and over.
