    Cute!! Caretaking!! Cuddling!!! Hiding-In-A-Locker-Together!!! What a fun and delightful collection of tropes, all sitting atop the heart-rending child abuse context that canon gave us. Their childhood is so so complex, but also still a childhood with its usual up and downs, and I adore this particular take on it.

      i've been interested in the ramifications of the specific abuse the kids within the horde have faced so far, especially how lonnie, kyle and rogelio have had different but same treatment. thank you for reading! :D
