         There was a big ado a while ago, which I think we can safely class as the biggest fandom drama since the Great Schism, that is the real reason, but I can't imagine the situation was helped by the fact there's 3 pages worth of results for "Character: Xi Jinping" rated Explicit.

               Perhaps for the best, although I doubt even China has tech good enough to tell that's what you are looking at.

               As for the drama, I didn't follow the details. This happened a while ago and I never looked into it too closely. However, I know the Chinese government got involved, which is the kind of thing you can't say about most fandom drama. I mean, even Trump has managed to avoid embroiling himself into that kind of drama.
