    Maekar does fully strike me as a man who gets given everything he’s ever wanted and then immediately goes, “ok, well something is wrong here.” Like babe you are allowed happiness!!! And joy!!! Not in canon unfortunately, but in my universe you are!!! 😭💕

    Meanwhile poor Baelor is simultaneously freaking out over the idea that he’s unintentionally violated the love of his life while also forcing their father to agree to the marriage because if there’s even a 0.0001% chance that Maekar doesn’t hate him, he’s going to take it. Maekar’s constant leaping to conclusions vs Baelor’s careful, precise approach to things really does get them into trouble. (But I love them anyways).
