      Bonding over trauma is my favorite trope in literally anything I can think of LMAO, it always hits JUST right in my little funny part of my brain that yells out "I WANT MISERY AND JOY!!!"

        “Trauma bonding”, when used as a term in therapy, refers to a bond between a victim and their abuser. What fandom generally tends to mean when they say “trauma bonding” is “bonding over trauma”
