      The 2FA for admins should be deployed in the version after next, I don't think there are any public plans to add 2FA to users too but it should be very simple given most of the code and tests are already there

      Hello,

      We plan to eventually implement two-factor authentication (2FA) for AO3 on an opt-in basis; however, we do not have a specific timeline for when this feature will be available.

      At the moment, our focus is on improving account security for all AO3 users, including those who would be unlikely or unable to opt in to using 2FA.
