Summary
When someone broke into his apartment, Kagami expected some petty larceny or maybe a demand for some cash, not Kise Ryouta, who was supposed to be back in Japan with the rest of the Generation of Miracles, terrorizing the nation’s college basketball scene and breaking hearts left and right as his modeling career took off in spite of his busy tournament season.

Summary
When Kagami gives a red goldfish to Kuroko that he got as a prize from a local festival's goldfish scooping game, Kuroko isn't sure what to make of it when the newly bought fishbowl is empty, the goldfish is missing and there's a handsome red haired man with heterochromatic eyes in his bathtub that is obviously naked to anyone with a pair of eyes.

Summary
He had grasped his pendant subconsciously again, seeking comfort in the old worn thing. His grandmother had given it to him barely hours after his parents had died. They had been hiking, so he was told, when a landslide had ended the trip prematurely. His grandmother, his only remaining relative, had kept him ensconced in the old shrine until he willingly put the pendant on and learned the words that she taught him.
The same words he was now repeating again and again.
“Ut tu etiam protege me.”
He probably should have known what it meant.

When Hound #4 is drafted to join Division 1, mixed reactions are received.
“You should be careful with Hound #4.”
Kuroko, sipping lukewarm lemon tea, pauses. “And why is that, Inspector Kise?”
The blond laughs at the astringent look marring Kuroko’s face, setting down his cup of espresso. “Because he’s got two of him inside — you’d never know which one you’re dealing with. One is a veneered charitable businessman, and the other,” he shrugs, “our resident sociopath slash serial killer. Always be on your tiptoes, Kurokocchi.”
