What if Zoro and Sanji's paths had crossed in Germa much earlier?
I searched for a similar story for a long time but couldn't find one. Finally, I decided to write one myself. Actually, the draft was written a long time ago.
If you know of any similar fanfics, please let me know.
I slightly altered the story according to my own preferences. I added and removed things depending on the flow of the story. I also made some changes to the timeline.
Maybe I'll connect this fanfic to the main story later.

“I still don’t believe a word he said,” Sanji tells Luffy. But he can’t help the way his mind wanders back to Zoro’s words for the rest of the night.
Who was Kuina? Was she really a secret lover, as Nami had put it? Or maybe she was a friend. A sister. Maybe even a mother? That would be weird, though, what with the way Zoro was talking about her. He was practically mooning over her in the same way Sanji did over his dearest Nami-swan.
This is stupid, Sanji decides as he helps Usopp carry Zoro back to the ship against his will. It’s the mosshead. Who cares?
Or, Zoro makes a drunken confession and Sanji wholeheartedly believes the swordsman has just revealed he has a secret wife. Her name? Kuina.
