Summary
Eridians really are masters of material sciences and engineering. The mere idea of this sort of invention is pure science fiction on earth, but here we are. 16 light years away from my home planet and I’m looking at a real life honest-to-god avatar. The blue ones, not the cartoon. It's a human man.
After many long years of work, Rocky has finally managed to make himself human to finally close the gap between him and Grace. It'll take a bit for him to get used to this new body, but in the meantime, Grace is perfectly capable of taking control and showing Rocky what humans can really do.

Rocky squeaks, a rush of air from his vents in a short burst. Scandalized.
“Put inside!? No no no. Disgust! Grace think like pervert! No no no.”
“It was an innocent question! Humans put their penises in any hole that can fit! Even stuff that isn’t alive, like, food or—”
Another squeal, this time Rocky stands on three legs. His two limbs used currently for his arms wave erratically.
“Perverted! Perverted! Perverted! Grace disgust! All human species disgust!”

Alpha Ryland Grace doesn't really care for his designation, it's never bothered him before. After being on suppressants for years before Erid, then experiencing very easy ruts because there wasn't another human being for 16 light years, he wakes up to an early rut that feels /bad/. Then he finds out his roommate/kind of friend is an Omega, and it gets worse. When Simon goes into heat despite the suppressants he's on, they have big decisions to make.
