Summary
Lance saw the hood of his BOM suit ripple in the gust of wind that hit the side of the cliff. Anxiety shot though the Cuban boy as Keith stepped closer to the edge, tilting his head up to the stars that lurked above. The wind picked up again, making the hood fall from his head and land around his shoulders. Keith’s inky locks seemed to dance to the rhythm of the air that circled them. The dust from the ground blew around Keith’s ankles before diverting over to the edge of the cliff, then over it. A boot clad foot followed suit, making the boy step closer to the descent. Time seemed to stop as Lance figured out what Keith was trying to do. What he as thinking. Streams of tears marked the pale skin of his sunken cheeks and seemed to reflect the universe in the pools that lay at bay in his eyes.

His hair is always messy, in a fucking mullet, but he makes it work. It’s agitating. Lance styles his hair for hours, and sometimes it ends up in frustrated tears. This guy looks like he probably uses 5-in-1 shampoo for everything but still has flawless skin.

However, Lance gave the most offended scoff before shaking his head quickly. “No, no—okay, here’s what’s going to happen,” Then his voice became stern and serious, a tone Keith wasn’t used to hearing from his silly husband. “You are going to rest, and you are going to rest until I deem that you’re ready to do things again. No if, buts, or ands.” He squeezed Keith’s cheeks.

Not much changed at the Garrison. Shiro had been the only constant in his life but he didn't mind. He didn't ask for more.Until Shiro disappeared during a space mission to Kerberos.
Now at 18, he finds himself all alone in space, rejected by his team and his Lion. His Mentor/brother missing or probably dead. With no purpose in life anymore, he lay down on the floor of the old pod accepting whatever fate had in store for him.
