Summary
Vinter fails her last year at Hogwarts, but her perfect pure-blood parents had her retaking the year under surveillance. So that's where she is now. Back at Hogwarts when all of her friends have moved on. She is constantly being watched, her progress tracked. And the teacher who watches over her? Her head of house, Professor Severus Snape. And she despises him. And he despises her. So much so that they find themselves enjoying each others company.

This is me messing up timelines, recasting dead characters, and abusing the HP world for my own uses to make an AU. Set 1 year after the books.
- Severus is not dead, but he will have trauma from nearly dying, knowing that most of his secrets came out.
- Dumbledore is also not dead, but he is not in great health now either. He is also your great great uncle, but I am just going to use uncle to simplify writing flow.
- Snape's love interest is a Student Teacher from N. America, Canada. She is around 30 years old.
- Lupin will be coming in to share Snape's love interest.
- Story is just going out of it's way to be a smutty fuck fest.I play a lot of D&D and my fav class is the Artificer, so that is pretty much what the reader is.
I make mistakes, please inform me of any I have made, either grammatically or lore incorrect.
I do not own Harry Potter or any characters related aside from my OC/reader character or any characters that obviously were not in the series.
I do not own Dungeons and Dragons or anything pulled from it to add to this story.

Years after the war, the two are forced to meet when Severus is once again told to create Wolfbane for Remus, and their relationship changes as a result... and a drunken night in the Hogshead.
However, over time, despite Severus being loyal and saying nothing, Remus comes to the realisation that he isn't quiet enough for Severus, that he needs more.
Eventually, Remus turns to Aurora Sinistra for help, and the two collaborate to provide the man with everything.
All the while, Severus has been avoiding a harsh reality for years. Until he is finally forced to admit and accept truth.

Snape jumped, instantly pointing his wand at him in defence, ready to attack with a fluidity that belied the position he’d been found in.
“What are you doing here, Mulciber?” Snape asked, lowering his wand slightly as he judged him with his eyes.
Bruce stayed silent, weighing how to answer, whether to be direct or invent an excuse. After several long, heavy minutes, he decided he didn’t feel like lying.
“I followed you. I saw you meet Potter,” he said, smiling at Snape’s sudden pallor and obvious discomfort. “I’m curious. If I remember correctly, he burned your books this morning.”or
After an unfortunate encounter, Mulciber’s mind becomes captivated by Severus, who is only trying to forget that year and move on with his life.
